You’ve seen it. People giving up before it even gets hard. Quitting before they’ve even started. That’s not you. Life’s not supposed to be easy. It’s supposed to be earned. You can play it safe and die a little every day. Or you can live hard and walk straight into the fight.

While others chase comfort, we chase challenges. While others reward themselves for nothing, we earn it, one hard step at a time. And while the coward dies a thousand deaths, each one a reminder of what he could’ve been, the only thing that dies in us is the weaker version of who we were yesterday.

There’s a reason King Leonidas looked Ephialtes in the eye and said: “May you live forever.” That’s not a blessing. That’s the curse of those who never stood for anything.

We die once. And when we do, it’s with our shield in hand. Life hard. Die once.
